Neighborhood Police Officers

Neighborhood Policing/Nuisance Abatement Unit officers are the community liasons, whose primary responsibilities are:

• Conducting crime watch meetings;
• Addressing community issues within the Division;
• Assisting the beat officers with issues on the beat;
• Responding to service requests;
• Serving in a patrol capacity and be assigned a geographical area of responsibility;
• and given directed assignments to meet Divisional goals.
